Default Tao Tao 110cc maintenance questions

Hello Atvconnection! My daughter got a TaoTao 110cc quad for Christmas, and I had some questions on maintenance since I cant seem to find the info I want in its "manual".

What type of oil should be used? I believe the manual stated 15w40, so I figure a 10w40 weight should be more than fine, but do I need a specific type of oil designed for motorcycles/atv's since the engine/trans share the same oil? Should I avoid energy/resource conserving oils? Would a synthetic help it run cooler? Is there an oil filter or screen that I can clean? I cannot find anything in the manual. Also how much oil should the engine hold? 1 qt, 1.5qt, less than 1 qt? I cant find a lot of info in the manual.

Also, what is the correct spark plug part number for these engines? Im sure there are a lot of plugs that will fit and work well enough, but I want "the best" which would be the CORRECT spark plug.

Thanks everybody!

Here's a Service manual in pdf. I am sure all the info you need will be in there.

The manual that came with our TaoTao Ata110D atv only goes to page 40 lol

The manual states 15w40, and I figure 10w40 should be perfectly fine, but you say 10w30 would be better?

Do I need a specific type of oil designed for motorcycles/atv's since the engine/trans share the same oil? Should I avoid energy/resource conserving oils?

Is there an oil filter or screen that I can clean or replace? It seems like some say yes and some say there isnt. How much oil does this 110cc "gy6 clone"(?) hold?

Also, I thought the "correct" stock spark plug was NGK? I just cant seem to find the correct Ngk part number for this 100cc "gy6 clone". Usually when I look, ill find multiple sites listing multiple part numbers that all say they fit almost all scooters/atvs. What is the correct Ngk spark plug part number for this engine? Correct Ngk iridium part number for this engine?

I posted the pdf "and" page numbers to look for the info. It's all there. Just use normal oil bought from the auto stores. Chinese atv's usually come with a Torch brand spark plug and work fine. You can try and find the equivalent in NGK.

So pretty much any 10w40 that is NOT resource/energy conserving should be fine with the wet clutch in this? Would a NON conserving synthetic 10w40 be better for the clutch? Would actual wet clutch 10w40 motorcycle oil be best? Thanks everyone!

I was under the impression the 110cc TaoTao takes 10W-40 motorcycle oil, 0.75 quarts only.
Not sure where the 2.2 litres comes from, that's > 2 quarts.
