Cool fixing chinese atv

if you bought one or know anything about old Honda's you will know very well the up keep on these motors. if you do it right you can limit your time put into these. the first thing I would do is put in sealed bearings, swap the CDI, change grips is a must, swap shocks, and buy a few different sprockets for riding conditions. if you are lucky you got one with multiple forward gears, if not then trust me and get a few sprockets. exhaust is a must in order to lift it up off the ground I recommend getting the pit bike exhaust. and lastly I would worry about tires. good luck and ride hard

After all of that I would just get a used name brand and put gas in it and go ride. CDI and shocks are not cheap and you forgot stators they blow out light cheap light bulbs on Asian ATVs.

Just buy something like this used and be done with it.

If youre like me and like to work in the garage these cheap machines are a great way to educate yourself and test your skills.
If you dont mind waiting for parts theyre dirt cheap directly from china.

If youre the kind that want something that just works you obviously need to put more money into it.

The reason the imports keep blowing electrical is the low quality of the solder joints in wire harness. Pull em apart do em right and it will eliminate most issues on electrical.
