I don't know but after a one hour ride back in 2011 why not get warranty to fix it before selling.
A person did not buy it new and wait until the warranty was up before taking their first ride.

That's bad news.
Maybe get the motor rebuilt top to bottom by someone for 2 grand maybe less. Where can a person get a 2011 750 for 2 grand?
Plus running you can sell it much easier and for much more.

I paid $7200 for it. If I spend $3000 to fix it right then I would have to keep it......

I know it sucks but to sell it with a blown motor for say $4000 would cost you $3200.

It may only need a top end job which maybe cost you only $1500.
With fixing the motor it will cost you but atleast its up and running.
Selling it as is will cost you also, its a no win choice really but I like the fix the motor idea more. Atleast get a quote and not just from a dealer but from private mechanic somewhere also.

Do you know what in the motor is wrong?

That thing won't cost no 1500 to rebuild, especially if you have a mechanic do it. Water has been sitting in that motor for 2-3 years now so everything should be replaced. I'd say it's probably worth 2k at the most. This is of course assuming that the engine has never been flushed or taken apart and cleaned

I hope he changed the oil after he drowned it and did not leave the water in it for 2 years.

We have drown more then a few ATV, We sent a 300KQ to the bottom of a lake ice fishing. As long as you do not restart them after they drown and change your fluids right away its really not much of a problem.

We even did two Honda 500 Forman's that were floating upside down in a creek. We pulled them to shore and sent a guy back to get all the fluids and did both ATV right on the side of the trail.
That was 2 years ago and both are still going strong.

Yea I agree, but it sounds like this was let go for a few years or else it may have started by now. This happened to my old foreman 400 once and it took about 5-6 flushes (with diesel fuel and old oil) till it was completely water free, then we did another 2-3 just to be safe. Never had a issue either till I sold it.
