Two hours drive away, this find is also in West Texas.


Polaris 400, 2 x 4, low/high gear & reverse. $2500.

 

Either a misprint or someone swapped gear cases in the Sport as they only had a forward/neutral/reverse,no low range.

my bad----it is a Trail Boss with Sport plastic swap.

 

2nd one doesn't sound that cheap to me. I've seen those for around $1000 close to me. Maybe not in as great of condition but its not even 4x4. Neither is the first one either as they would have noted that in the ad I assume. If I'm going to spend $2500-$3000 for a older used utility quad, it better be 4x4. Look at this 02 Sportsman 500 close to me for $2000 02 polaris sportsman 500 ho. Id rather have it than either of those 2. Needs a couple minor things but I see it even has a winch and pretty decent tires on it too.

 

It's not a Trail Boss either as those were 250 2 strokes to begin with and ended up being a 325 and 330 4 stroke. It's still either a misprint on it having a low range or someone swapped gear cases or it's an older 400L 2x4 with Sport plastic..
