2004 eton viper 70 shuts off after doing a wheelie
I actually have 3 eton quads. All 2004 and they're 2 stroke. One is a 90cc and the other 2 are 70cc. All viper series. Whenever I get a wheelie started then drop the front end the quad shuts off. I thought it was only one of them but it does the same with all of them. I put a brand new carb on one of the 70cc quads thinking maybe the float was sticking but it also shuts off after a quick wheelie. All safety features have been removed from all 3 quads but it did it before and after removal of those. Also these quads lag power up some good size hills and sometimes shut off halfway up a hill or going down a hill. I heard good reviews before I bought these used but now I'm thinking about going back to hondas because I never had any problems with honda before. Trying to figure this out before I put them up for sale. I'd like to keep them but when my kids ride them and they stall on hills it's frustrating sometimes trying to get them to start again. Hopefully I can find something out here on this site or have someone guide me in the right direction. And yes I know they're small quads for kids and not made for wheelies but somebody has to know something about these...
