Are these good tires compared to my cheap stock goodyears that my 06 rancher 350 2wd came with?

Will they hold up better to blacktop than the goodyears which are not?

My back stock tires are 25 x 11-10 They only list 25x10-12 and 25x11-12 Which size will fit and will they be smaller or bigger?

I don't do mud, I do some trails, fields, and some highway (1-2 miles daily). The only time my bike gets in any mud is during deer season so I am not needing any extreme mudders. My old suzuki had dunlop which really held up great on blacktop but I love the looks of these 489's.

These tires came stock on my 05 sportsman 400 and other than maybe wanting a little more snow traction for when I'm plowing on hard pack, I couldn't ask for a better OEM tire.

THEY ARE GOOD TIRES, BUT FOR THE REAR YOU NEED SOMETHING TO FIT A 10 INCH RIM.GATORS OR BUGS(MUD/HARD PACKED) ARE A GOOD CHOICE OR EVEN A DIRTDEVIL.(AT TIRE)THEY BOTH COME IN A 25X12-10 WHICH IS THE BIGGEST TIRE YOU COULD PUT ON WITH OUT POWER LOSS.REMEMBER THAT THE LAST MUMBER SUCH AS THE 10 IN 25X12-10 IS THE RIM SIZE.

So a 25X12-10 will work for a 25 x 11 - 10?

I think that will be a hair wider which would be great can I also go a hair wider on the front like a 24 x 9 - 12 in place of the 24 x 8 -12?

no, to hard to steer. usually when people get the wider front they use a skinnier rear with them.

I may go with the 489s on my Wolverine. They're the only aftermarket 23" tire that will fit on a 12" rim.

Can I run 25's on the front and back intead of running 24's on the front like it has or will it make the front end sit to high? BTW it is a 2wd and I don't think a half a inch on the front would hurt but want to make sure it will work out and not put any strain on anything.
