All Terrain tires for 2005 Foreman ES (TRX500FE)?
--Hi, all. In the future, I will be wanting some aggresive tread tires to go on the above quad. I don't need any super duper mud tires, just something with a more aggressive tread pattern than the stock tires. I will be going on asphalt and dirt roads, and sometimes muddy and rocky terrain. Nothing too serious...no major hills either. If possible (meaning not too cost prohibitive) I would like the tires to be taller than the stock tires so I could have just a little bit more ground clearance (I figure with 26 or 27" tires, the extra 1/2 or 1 inch extra ground clearance won't make the quad too tall/tippy.)
--Any suggestions on Brand, model, size, etc. of tire? I just need a good tire with a good overall tread pattern and price. Thanks for your help.
P.S.
Should I also try to find a tire that has a wider footprint? The above quads front and rear width on the stock tires are 8 and 10" respectively.

Check my pics. Those are the best all terrain aggresive tire you can get, imo. They are also the #1 selling all terrain tire. WWW.TRAXMOTORSPORTS.COM Check more info there and get a closer look. These tires are perfect for what you need. Also, i stayed with the stock size (26") and gained an inch of ground clearance. The tires width at 26" is 9 front, 12rear.

The Foreman is pretty much a work quad, so it needs all the help in can get in the performance department! On my Ranchers, I put ITP Holeshot ATR radials mounted on some nice ITP rims. The rims have a greater offset than stock, so it makes the quad wider, for some extra stability. And WAY LIGHTER than the stock wheels and tires. Turns it into a whole different, way more sporty machine!
Not sure what size rims the stock machine has, but I would say save some more money and get aftermarket rims. That way, if you go taller, the extra width offsets the raised center of gravity which will make you more tippy.
