Default Sportsman 700 alignment

Going to put new inner and outer tie rod ends on my 700 and looked in the service manual for alignment. Book says to set the toe out 1/8 to 1/4". That right? I work on cars/trucks for a living and on our alignment rack the toe is always set in. Just a strange thought I had.

Replaced the tie rod ends and did the alignment. It handles much better with a bit of toe out vs toe in. Doesnt vibrate any more either.
