The Spartan Racing guys ride all over Oregon, just about every other weekend. We love to meet up with other riders and have a good time, let us know if you have any plans.

 

We use to make an Oregon Dunes trip every summer. Inlaws have a place on 10 Mile Lake, so it is real convenient. Then gas prices went up, and we missed last year. Were talking about doing it again this year, but gas is going back up again so all is up in the air.....

What I like about O D is the trails! We have precious few woods trails around here, and I can ride Glamis or Dumont anytime if I want the true "dune" experience, but zipping around on sandy trails in the woods is the bomb for me!

 

Thats awsome i wish i could go down and ride glamis or dumont some time, the biggest mistake i made was not going down there last winter when gas was cheap, im hoping to make it down there next winter if gas is not to high, Well i hope you guys can make it up to the O.D.'s again i love them and those sandy trails sure are sweet. check out our video's on you tube, type in "oregon dunes apocalypse two" thats our lates vid.

 

We come down 4-5 times a year. Our last trip was to Horsefall beach over Memerorial weekend. Our next trip is Sandlake on the 9th of July.

 

I'm not a racer. Just a recreational rider that has been at it for about a year. I try to get out to the dunes at least once a month. I usually ride at Florence and sometimes get down to Spinreel. We just went to Winchester Bay last weekend as part of our club ride. First time I've been to Winchester, but it won't be the last. It definitely gave my 400ex a workout, though.

 

We will be down for a week of ridding after the August long weekend. We are staying at Discovery Point.
I think we get there tuesday afternoon.

 

We usually go down there about 4 times a year except this year I broke my foot and have been laid up for the last 3 months. Had to cancel a trip to Spinreel and Driftwood earlier this month
Have a trip planned for Winchester during Thanksgiving and that will probably be the only trip to the dunes this year.

Family is headed up there this weekend, but I have to stay home....
