Once again Hawkeye, great pictures and thanks or sharing.
We have desert type tails here too, mostly on the east side of the HWY that cuts through the center of town.
On the east side of HWY 89 they mined for uranium and they mined gold and silver on the west side.
The uranium that was used in the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from the uranium mines here in Marysvale Utah.
They call the graveyard here "cancer hill" from both the mining and from being "down-winders" from the testing in NV.

I went riding last weekend on my favorite trail only to find out that after a month of absence, someone had looped the trail. I didn't take my camera so no pics yet, however I might get out there Tomorrow or Sunday and I'll get some pics of the new addition. I'm guesstimating about 1.5 - 2 mile addition to the existing 3 mile trail.
