Default SNOW in Georgia!! 12-26-2010

We dont get much of the white stuff here, and when we do it doesnt last long.I got about 4 inches at my house so of course I had to play in it. Here are a few pics, I know its not trial riding, but it was still fun!

I always chuckle a bit when I hear about you folks down South getting some snow. It's bad enough where people are supposedly used to it up here in New England. I also like riding in the snow. Lots of fun especially when you can get out on a pond or lake that's frozen and do some drifting and donuts.

We like our snow down here, it goes away quick!! This was actually the second snow fall here this year, the first time was on March first when we had just 3 inches.I enjoy it cause I spent time when I was younger in Ohio with my grandparents, but dont think I could handle it all winter long!!
How much did you get with this storm?

They were telling us that we'd get 18+ but we only got about 12". Not super light, not super wet. Pretty easy cleanup. I just got back from a ride in NH at a state park that allows ATVs only when there is snow on the ground. Tough to beat riding in snow when it is mid-40s!

Default UPDATE!! Round 2

Ok we have had another snow in GA!! This one is a goodun!! The town I live in is reported to have 11 inches!!! Wow! I have 7 1/2" on the ground at my house! Plus we have had freezing rain on top of it. We will probaly be snowed in for a few days on this one cause the roads are horrible. I have a f250 4x4 diesel but it stayed in the yard as I road the 4wheeler all day!! I will post pics as soon as I upload them to the computer.
Y'all have fun up northeast as this is heading y'alls way.

I've been waiting to get slammed so we could ride the sleds a little...it has been a terrible season for snowmobiles up here so far!

At the same time I am absolutely DYING to get out on the trails with the Sportsmans...guess that is going to have to wait...

You might not have to wait too long!! lol

This is very unusual for us to get two snowfalls within 3 weeks of each other. The temps are staying below freezing untill sometime tomorrow, that means no go for us as there is atleast 2 to 4 inches of ice on the roads here. The secondary roads are worse than that, and the county is slow to clear them. Looks like I'm out to have more fun with the kids today!
