Riding isnt that bad in Moose country. Most of the lakes have 8" of ice and only a few open water areas. Just think of it as a oval track that you can drown in .
The Dragin is a 250R...the pipe to the left of it is one of the 500's.
Have a stable full of both. LT & LTX's. More too.
For mountain trails I ride the 2 stroke Polaris 400 4x4. headlights, reverse, guards, spark arrestor, bars, electric start...for pussyfootin'around on. it's a little beefed up & jetted for higher elevations.
Those are not Mississippi Paddle Boat tires drowning would be an option....errrrrrrrrr no thanks.

I bet you could do some skimming with the 250 & 500.
My ex is fairy stock. She has filter, jets, mods on stock header & pipe, all new bearings, swinger skid, bars, shocks and now hd tierods.
I ride around 1500'+/-. Around here its rocks or sand and not much in between. My poor ex gets smashed through it all and as fast as possible .
I run with the air box lid propped open. So I dont care fore deep water. But some times I just cant say no....
Moose, I lied guess I have been winched out at least 1 time.

Well, I'm shattered now... Jgar, hope of the sport quad riding public has admitted a defeat. Say it ain't so!!! Your superhuman status has just been downgraded because of this admission... Oh, the inhumanity!

I saw that winch cable and just assumed you were pulling a jetski through the water

Yeah, yeah, that's it. He was pulling someone else out. That makes much more sense.
