Week in Jackman, ME.
Spent a week in Jackman, ME Aug. 25th to Sept. 1st. Had a good time. Mrs. Moose and I without the boyz.
South of Jackman, ME looking north.
One of the many water crossings along the trail.
Looking back toward Little Brassau Lake. For the non-French that's pronounced Brasswa.
Packed for a 100+ mile ride. I needed to use one of the 2 gallon cans. Trail to a gas station was closed due to severe storm damage. Good thing I carry extra.

Moose River. Flows from west side of Maine, through Attean Pond (lake), through Big Wood Lake, Long Pond, Little Brassau, Brassau Lake, and into Moosehead Lake.
Trail near Pittston Farm about 60 miles NNE of Jackman. 2 years ago when I first got the Can-Am I opened it up on this trail. Got up to 68 mph before running out of smooth trail where I could see a long distance.
Marie (Mrs. Moose) kayaking out on Big Wood Lake. It's nice to be able to boat and ATV from the cabins.
View from our cabin's deck.
Old train depot in Jackman.
