That's probably where the more sport oriented Scramblers have the advantage over the pure utility machines. Its funny that I was just browsing through the local craigslist ads as I often do and found a nice used 2013 Scrambler 850(no eps) for $5000 in Southest Missouri, about 150 miles or so from me 2013 POLARIS SCRAMBLER 4X4 850. It only has 672 miles on it. I've seen used Scrambler 850's and 1000's as well as Renegades but none with this few miles on them for that price. Its tempting to go check it out but I see the ad is already 2 months old so its most likely already sold anyway. A deal like that lasts only a few days before someone comes and snatches it up. Many times on craigslist people leave ads up well after the item has sold. I'm guessing this is the case here. Still made me think. The 850 isn't quite as powerful as the 1000 but it would be way more powerful than anything I have ever ridden.

Video of the switchbacks west of Circleville. The video doesn't do the hill any justice. It's only 60" wide, with 50-150 ft. drop offs. We came down this trail in 2013 and had to park our rental quads and RZR's on the edge to let a group of 10 RZR's go by. Took an hour. Was much nicer climbing without anyone coming down the other way. Up top it gets wider as you near the peak.

Yeah, every time I see a deal that looks too good to be true, it usually is. That Outlander 650 is no slouch on power for sure. Great videos by the way. Those dunes look like fun. The cool thing about dunes is you can basically go anywhere, you're not limited to a trail. The Paiute Trail is a bit more technical but looks fun too. I see you had a can with extra fuel, I'd definitely need that if I tried to make one of the longer loops. No way I'd finish without running out of gas. About 60 miles is all I estimate I could get out of the Brute. I went on 2 short rides over the weekend, about 26 miles combined and used almost 1/2 tank.

I think the dunes at Coral Pink, where you can ride, is 2100 acres or something like that. Plenty of room to have fun. I'm pretty sure there are trails that go out of the park to the north and to the south to connect up with the other trail areas.

The only dunes I have ever ridden on were in Badlands over in central Indiana when we went there back in 2009. There is a atv park called St Joe's State Park about 2 1/2 hours away from me over in Missouri that does have some dunes and open areas but I have yet to make it there. Nothing close to 2100 acres, probably about 1/4 that size.
