Default Speed Top End

I have a 2005 Arctic Cat, cannot get it to run over 25 MPH. Had a solid red belt light that reset but still will not get over 25 MPH. I recently had the valves adjusted, could this still be the issue. Also will not idle without some choke.

does it sound like your hitting max rpm's? or are they sounding low?

are you in high gear?
Have you popped the cover to check your belt?
Seems that if you had a light that just reset itself then your having this issue, I would suspect there is still a issue...

Yes the cover was removed, the front pulley the belt drops all the way to bottom. And the rear is all the way on the top.

When I get it revved up the belt appear to pull down on both pulleys, but it starts to cut out at higher RPM's. Valve or Carb?

With a new belt how much defection should the belt have? Mine has close to 2" with everything put together.
