hey guys i know this has probably been asked a million times over but i just got a 88 quadrunner in on trade runs fine but when you start it you need to give it some gas....and it will not idle unless you give it throttle.....what would be causing this problem? the guy said it sat for a bit when he got it which makes me think of pilot jets i need further info and opinions please

 

If the idle adjust screw doesn't help,then I'd tear into the carb and rebuild it. 1987 1989 Suzuki LT4WD 250 4x4 Quadrunner Carb Carburetor Repair Kit 03 206 | eBay No sense in just cleaning a carb and possibly having to go back into it.
