How does it go from being a Predator 500 to a Predator 90 It does have a cdi as do all machines but in your case on this little one, check the throttle cable for binding side to side and also any wiring that could be shorting out or not securely connected under the front cover as you make sharp turns.Plus do you have any thing on the key fob? Any straps, key chains can cause the ignition switch to move slightly and kill the machine.

I have the Polaris predator 500. I thought only the 90s and 50s have a cdi box and the 500s don't

Still don't have anything on the key fob. If it still dies on right hand turns it's either the throttle cable and carb idle set too low or you have a wiring short under the front panel OR still the blamed battery cable if it's loose on the battery.. Just eliminate one thing at a time.

I'll get a new battery and go from there. Don't think it's the idle because when I test drove it was fine. Something must have come loose. By the way before this whole right hand turn thing it bogged out going straight.

OPT is right about not having anything on the key. I used to have a plastic key tag on my key ring and when I turned it would sometimes hit and turn the key just enough to shut it off.

that is interesting cause that was the first time I had the paracord on the key that it did that. Can you see that the key actually moved or can you not even tell?

I couldn't really see that the key moved but it moved a little bit. It was halfway off and halfway on.
