Default Rancher 420 vs Suzuki KQ 400 (footshift)

Comparing between these two? What's good/bad? Both manual shift, non powersteering, same price.

Looking forward to hear what you all got to say!

Going to be used for farm work, plus some playing at times too. Another question, is there much difference in fuel use? We're talking 1000hrs a year.

I think the Honda gets slightly better fuel economy but they're very close. Either one is a good choice. As I said on the other post, try both of them out and pick the one that feels the best. Hondas are generally known to be a bit more reliable. Another one I would have thrown in the mix might have been a later 2000's Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4. They were a very good workhorse as well. The earlier ones were full-time 4x4 but from 2002 until they quit making them, it was selectible with push button.

Fuel economy I would not worry about will not be enough to worry about. normal riding they are all good on fuel. they don't start sacking until u open it up racing your buddys I've had the older king quads I will say they were built proof. not to mention they would go any ware.
