Got her running, i swapped the throttle barrel with one from a junk Xplorer 400. Also replaced the needle & seat, along with a carb rebuild. Now my question is about the airbox, can you swap the airbox from an Xplorer 400? I noticed that the Xplorer's airbox is a better design and easier to remove.

Thank you so much for your advise.

On this older style box you could probably get it to work, but you'd have to make some changes along with probably having to order the air box boot. My two cents is that you have the better air box and filter(along with the prefilter) on the Sport 400 already.Plus it's not prone to breaking at the the box neck like the older style box was and suck in raw air to the carb.
