Default 2001 Honda recon 250 vs 2002 Suzuki eiger 400

So I'm debating weather to buy a used 2001 Honda recon 250 or a 2002 Suzuki eiger 400 and I can't bring myself to a decision. I was hoping you guys can help me out and tell me the differences between the two, pros, cons, stuff like that. All help is appreciated!

Ride em both. My Arctic Cat 400 has the same motor as the Eiger, it's quite strong. You shouldn't pay a lot for either. I paid $1,400 for my AC, it came with new tires, has been great, tops out around 55 mph, starts great even at -20F. I'd go for the Zuki. My nephew has the Honda 250, my brother has a Honda 300, very good bikes, but the 400 is more bike.

I'm assuming the Eiger is a 2wd model, I know they made them in both 2wd and 4x4 versions. Also both in foot shift semi-auto and cvt auto, im guessing this is the semi-auto foot shift. The Eiger just has more power than the Recon. If you ride both, you definitely will want to buy the Eiger. I assume the Recon costs less, that might be the only selling point for it. The Recon is physically much smaller too.

BTW, my niece paid $2,500 for the Honda for her kid, haha. Because it was a "Honda".

The 400 has nearly double the horsepower and the 250 is a small quad. If you aren't very tall the Recon might fit you but you can have more fun with more power.
