I like how they leave out the more important bit of information, the suggested retail price. I'm guessing easily north of 20K. I guess if you really need to haul 6 people, this will do it. But this thing is huge so manuverable it is not. That's the biggest advantage a utv has over a truck, the ability to fit into places they can't. When they get this big, that advantage is basically gone.

Surprise! Price is $14,400 for the DPS and $17,200 for the XT model for the 6 passenger versions. I thought it would be hire too.

Not as much as I thought. I wouldn't really need a 6 passenger utv anyway though. I'd rather have the 2 door version. Actually I'd rather have a Pioneer 1000. More power and dual clutch transmission with no belts to ever wear out. Plus the manual option if you want with the paddle shifters which might be fun to use from time to time.

I'd rather have a 2 door too. As long as it had room for 3 like the Ranger and this new beast. Have to have my sons with me when we get firewood.

The newer utility utvs like the Viking, Pioneer 1000, Ranger and Defender models all have room for 3 in the 2 door versions. The Viking is the least expensive but its the only single cylinder machine of the bunch so it has less power. If Yamaha would perhaps put a detuned version of the triple 1000cc engine in the YXZ 1000 in the Viking, then they would have something. I guess the 686cc single is sufficient power if you just want to use it for work and trail riding. It will still go 50 mph, which is fast enough for most.
