My newest toy is a S&W M&P 15-22, I have shot several brands of ammo through it with no issues. Very fun and cheep to shoot.

Well, you were able to find a 2 year old thread, lol.

 

We've all jumped on old or even older threads at one time or another,plus he's right. I can't find any 22 ammo either,think my son bought all of it up...

 

Wish we could dig up ammo prices from years past.

Still a fun gun to shoot, even 2 years later.

 

I've got an old Winchester 74 similar to this one that shoots ONLY 22 Long..Similar to the old gallery guns at the fairs and carnivals. Try and find this ammo also..

 

Live ammo at a carnival. I remember (barely ) those days.

 

The Dicks by me always has a few boxes of both Remington .22 LR and CCI 22 LR in stock. Like everything else though, the price has sky rocketed. Strange you guys can't get it in Texas.

 

I've been able to get it a couple hundred rounds at a time. I just have to remind myself to stop in when I'm near gun stores in my area. Every so often we even land a brick of 500. It's slow to catch up to demand. From what I've heard the rimfire factories are at full capacity.
