Default Chinese atv

I have a 2000 sundrio 90 cc ATV with a single throttle cable leaving thumb press and then branching to a double one goes to carb of course but can't locate where the other cable goes.My daughter is ready to ride and has a whip,lol can some one help!!!!

Sounds like a split cable leading to carb and to an oil pump If it's a 2 stroke,PO may have defeated/bypassed the pump and premixed the oil and gas.

Makes sense...another problem is that it will run for around 7 sec and cuts off.can I bypass the automatic choke ?

Pull the fuel line from the carb and see if it's getting fuel. If it is,you might try cleaning the carb,but I'd do a compression check first. Most of the blamed electric chokes never worked right to begin with,but you can disconnect it. If it's like a lot of these carbs with auto chokes you can start them easier by blocking off the air inlet with your thumb or hand on first crank up. This allows more fuel less air and what most of these little ones need to crank.
