Even used, you're going to spend at least $5000 for something in decent condition, probably more like $6000. And that's for an older Rhino or Ranger. You can buy a decent used 4x4 quad for around $3000.
Any wider of a tail why unload the ATV from the back of the truck?

Honda has finally released the remaining info we've been waiting for on these Pioneers (things like the price):

5 passenger! What trail can this go down that a 4x4 truck or jeep can not? That was the point when we unload our ATVs from the trucks . It was because the trucks could not go any further because the trail was to narrow and twisty.

Lol, it is a big continent, you should go out and explore a bit. I am not particularly interested in the huge machines, but plenty of riding areas for these. Also about the right tool for the job. I have some pictures of my baby wildcat next to a rental Chevy Spark, just about the same size but that car would be destroyed 5 minutes after trying to follow the cat offroad.

I have been on many trails that were wide enough for a full-size vehicle but riding an atv or side by side is just more fun. You wouldn't be able to run your truck at 45 mph on that trail without breaking something. I wouldn't want to beat the crap out of my truck on a rough trail. I need that to get home lol. If you see full size vehicles on the same trail as atvs, they're always in the way because they go so freaking slow. Seems pretty boring if you ask me.

The one stat that seems a bit disappointing is the weight. Seems like a pretty hefty side by side but I guess its somewhat on par with the other utility based side by sides. Perhaps a pure sport version will be released later that is a bit lighter, closer to the weight of a Rzr. Maybe even a 50" version as well.

I was thinking it was about right, if not a little light, for a vehicle of those dimensions. But, it's heavier than a comparable Can-Am Commander or Polaris Ranger, if I'm reading the specifications rightly.

About 1500 lbs for the single seat eps model. The Polaris Ranger XP 900 for example, weighs 1318 lbs dry weight for the single seat model, about 200 lbs less. It claims 68 hp so the power to weight ratio is very similar.
