Rancher rear axle bent!
Hello everyone. I just joined this site so I could pick a few brains of you moer knowlegeable guys who have done an axle replacement before. I'm knid of new to this. I have an 08 Rancher 420 es 4x4 and hit a tree with rear wheel and bent the axle. Can anyone give me a step by step on replaceing the axle? I already bought a new one and just need to make sure I don't go into this operation blind. I'm still nursing some sore ribs from the incident in which the axle was bent so I don't need to be spending time on this redoing stuff. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thanks HM, appreciate the quick response. S86, I would buy a manual but I need to get my Rancher operational ASAP and don't have time to order one. We're trailering it and a few others Upstate NY next w/e to do some mountain trail riding. Hopefully my ribs will be up to the task. Thanks everyone!

There are leaves up there?
Yeah, my Dads place is at the top of a mountain, you can go right out of his drive way and shut your car off and coast 5 miles. Across the street is some state property that has a long dirt road that leads to a water fall and a bunch of really awesome trails.
We were up there a few weeks ago and had an awesome time. Road all day and never saw another soul. Best part after a day of long hard riding, Dads place is right there so we can kick back and build a nice camp fire and through down some suds.
I love 4 wheeling!
