250X VS 300EX
Yes the trx250r was in a whole different class of performance but hey if it wasnt for the 300ex Honda wouldnt have even had a anything at all for us trailriders from 1988 to 1999 The one question I have always wondered is why they didnt just take the 250r chassis and dropped in a compact little four stroke 250 . That way they could have had a an nice long travel suspension that was wide and stable with just a weak engine. If honda was so worried about safety why did they make the 250x/300ex so narrow and tippy with such short travel shocks.

i have a 250x and it can keep up with a 300 untill u get to top speed and then it just barely goes ahead. i would rather have my quad because price wise it cost about half as much as a 300. i paid 1500 for my quad with everything listed below
