Yea it's perty close to the one I have on this site Our Sand Dune Videos Just scoll down the page a little and click on the button "Speed Calculator". You can choose between many diff quads. and check the results of diff gear changes. plus there is tons of video.

Make sure you set the rpm the same on both calculators. It will make a diff. When you use the same rpm's then the diff in the calculators is only a tenth or so diff.

If you have a shop manual for your bike it should be in there. If not then maybe on the honda site. I'll do some digging and see if I can find them. If I find them i'll post them.

I just looked for the manual but couldn't find it. I just looked at it a few days ago.

Anyways, is there any way to change the ratios?

I found my owner's manual. This is what I have for the transmission ratios:

Primary Reduction: 2.407
Final Reduction: 5.684
Gear Ratio, 1st: 2.389
2nd: 1.609
3rd: 1.179
4th: 0.906
SL: 4.083
Reverse Gear ratio: 5.397

How can I get top speed from this? I do'nt have the max RPM.

the results were totally different for me too. My blaster went 77 on one and 49 on the other, and I dont think that I could do 18mph in first gear.

jed250, all you do is insert those numbers into the 1st through 5th gear ratio fields enter your sproket sizes, tire sizes. etc. Pick and rpm. prolly between 7500 and 8500 for most stock machines.

roosthrower, you can't use a blaster on the other calculator there isn't one listed and you can't tell it what gear ratio's to use. if you know your ratio's and other info the calculator on my site will work.

I got 68.565 MPH in 5th gear on my calculator at 8250 rpm for the 400EX
on the other calculator I got 68.62 MPH in fith gear at 8250 rpm.
