Top speed of a Trx 450R
Ok look sense ppl are talking bout banshees and 450s.... a banshee will alwys be faster then a 450 anyday of the week.... i use to have a 400ex and then i stepped it up to my cousins banshee.... it has over 70 horse at the rear wheels.. it was dyno ran at 74.9 horse... now ftz did the headwork and most of the other motor mods .... it sits 50 inshes wide and has elka shocks all the way around totaled to like 4grand in suspension... neway it will beat ne 450 ne day of the week idc what neone says also as stated earlier morestrokes done mean more power. the banshee would still b around if it wernt for emission.... also i drag an ice cube 522r and i beat him with the banshee and the 522 was no slow machine...and the point of this is that the banshee is still around for one thing and it isnt suspension it is the power it is capable of

banshee's are fast in a straight line when modded but an 06/07 450r w/hrc kit
will make anything other than a drag banshee look stupid.
I have done it
its not all about the peak hp numbers, a nice long usable power output that comes on early and holds say around 55hp will kill a 70hp banshee that only puts 70hp to the tires for a couple seconds.

A Banshee's 2 stroke engine would be the equivelant of pluggin 2 CRF250R motors on to one bike and letting them share the weight distribution to power ratio. My Banshee on the other hand hit 89......and I have minimal mods done to it. Plus, if you think the hit in power from the 450R is harsh, try lettin loose on a Banshee. You'll notice a HUGE difference once you hit the middle of the power band. Banshee's gained their reputation from being the fastest......and there's a reason for it.

Well said my man well said . AND the banshee has 2 cylinders and 6 gears get with the program ppl I have a 450R myself And even I'm not stupid enough to talk **** about the real drag king which is the banshee unless you have a 450R FRAME with a snowmobile engine in it and wicked gearing. Nuff said.... Instead of talking SHITT exchange addresses and put them on the track I know I'm new to this PAGE but I've built racing engines for 10 years And the most power I could squeeze out of A TRX450R was about 73 horsepower and even then she wasn't that reliable for more than a year and I was Tearing back into her for another 2 grand. And no the ice cube 522 is not slow.

Lmfao dude you have no clue how motors work do?
i just put a pipe on today--- and was testing up and down my street - about 1-2mile run to test.
barely got into 5th gear for a bit - and had hit 72 already _according to my gps.
dang - too fast for the street - low end is rip your hands off ....SHHHt.
I almost want to go back to stock - too scarry now! its fast enough....
i was going to do the 13T sprocket - im taking that back to shop tomorrow and get my 25 dollars back - im chicken now.
cracks me up to hear those Banshee guys telling me how theirs' is just faster - its 2stroke ??!
