Default 01 TRX350FE Rancher piston carnage---need help!

Hey guys I'm definately a newbie to 4wheelers but i have an 01 rancher trx350fe and the piston skirt broke off. so we pulled the top end off and found this so we're gonna try to get all the metal out of the bottom end. my question is should i get an aftermarket big bore kit and if so what all is involved in installation or bore it and go back with a oversized stock style piston? or wiseco? also should i replace the oil pump or just try to clean up and salvage whats there? all info is welcome! thank you for your help

also saw on ebay a kit that comes with the cylinder, gaskets, piston etc. for $180 plus exchange for my old cylinder---would this be a good idea?

there doesnt seem to be any damage to the crank or rod

Did you split the case to be sure,if not now might be the time to do so if you feel like there still my be some skirt left,it's not a super bad job if you have access to a clutch puller,if you don't have a manual I'd get one.The oil pump should be fine if the gear is free.As far as the Ebay kit,I've delt with the guy in the past with no issues for the simple fact the cylinder I had was past the service limit other than sleeving,so his price was not bad

Are the big bore kits that much better or just go back with a stock style setup?

Now would be a good time to up the compression a little, stock Honda,if I remember correctly, is about 8.2:1 or so, going to a 10.25:1 will still run fine on pump gas, and you won't need a big overbore to notice the extra power. If your jug is fine, I would just get a good Wiseco or LA sleeve piston, have it bored out one or 2 sizes over stock, and you would only have the piston, gaskets and labor charges, if you put it together yourself.
