I got a 2005 honda recon ES that won't run with the fuel system in the ON position. It will run fine with it on the reserve tank. The tank is full. This has got me very puzzled. The only thing i can think of is that the fuel shutoff valve might be bad. Id appreciate any info. thanks steve

 

Sounds like the main line from the tank to the selector switch is clogged.

Thanks for the info. But it still has me puzzled. Because if the main line is plugged how is it getting fuel from the reserve? Is there a separate line for the reserve that flows into the main line?
