digital display problems
I recently replaved the battery in my '04 Foreman ES. The display now reads in metric. I can't find anything in the manual and the dealer says to bring it in (yeah, right). Surely there is an easy way to switch back to miles from kilometers. What am I missing. Any help? Thanks!

There has to be a way.
Let me check for understanding here....it used to work in MPH, you replaced the battery , and now its stuck in metric?
Id try disconnecting the battery for about 1/2 minute and reattach it.
Seems to me, ive seen this before and there is a way to switch it back. I dont have my owners manual handy, but i thought i read in there how to switch it.

After thinking about it some more, i was wondering if maybe the positive cable end, touched ground while you were switching batteries. I know on honda cars, thats how the computer is reset. Remove both cables, and touch the ends together...and the learned memory is gone. Maybe thats what happened on your change over.

Thanks for the responses. I tried the H+M buttons and it didn't work. I don't know if the positive cable touched ground but it is possible. In my orginal post I forgot to mention that my odometer reading now reads 650,000+ KMs and my operating time is now 54,000+ hours. Of course this is not correct although how cool would it be to be able to ride that much? I will try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery next time I'm at the farm, hopefully tomorrow. Again, thanks to all.
