Default recon 250

ok i have a 250 recon that is all stock
manual tran
2X4

what is their top speed usually?
also what would be good mudding tires for it?

and am i the only one that loves the recon
i mean i go mudding alot...not it in anything crazy deep but i mean that
thing will go trough anything even though its a 2X4 well then again it may have
to do with the fact that i'm light (130lbs) but it still doesgood....and usually if i do
get stuck i can either rock it out myself or if someone gives it a pull form the
front (not with their bike but just by pulling) then it usually comes out...

You can find the answers to both of your questions by doing a search.

yea thats exactly what i say i LOVE my recon

mud lites are good i do not have them but my uncle does
they do not weigh much so they do not bog it down

recons go about 48-51 stock

get a jet kit

over rev box

dr.d exhaust

and if you want to put a sport clutch on it you can find the parts you need at http://216.37.204.206/wps/Honda_OEM/HondaATV.asp just compare yours with the 2006 250ex clutch and you will find what you need

do not get a paper air filter

if you want to put a snorkel on it i will take pics or a vid on how to if you want

You went 59mph on a mid size bore 500 (single cylinder SOHC) Rubicon Utility which is considered far from the fastest of the 500cc class of utility ATVs.

And you don,t think a big bore 650-800 (Twin cylinder or single DOHC) Utility can hit 65-75?
