Hey Guys. I am triyng to inspect the rear brakes on my 2004 Honda 400 Fourman AT, but unable to remove the rear drum, it move out about 1/2 an inch out then someting stops it. (Note, brakes adjustment at nice and loose and the bell housing has been removed) but what is the next step?

Grease the seals real good whan you put it back together. Read Hondamechanic's post in this thread

Check all your seals. THere is one in the cover where the axle comes out, and one in the back, plus the grease seal by the bearing. If you had a greasy mess in there you need to replace those seals. If you had water in there you need to replace the dust seals and check the vent hose for ANY holes or tears. When I put my cover on, I apply a thin bead of automotive silicone to the seating surface and have never had a problem with water.
