The oil thermosensor is right beside the left foot rest (when sitting on the bike).. First try either removing the wire connector off the sensor and ground it , or just fold back the rubber boot back and ground it using a wire .. The oil light should come on and the fan should start ..

Are you sure it doesn't work , the fan doesn't come on very often ..

In nearly 10 years, mine has only come on a very few times.

I live out in the AZ desert and went for a 12mile ride this morning at 5am at 88º. I got back at 7am at 98º. Incase your wondering it's 2pm now and 115°.

My fan cycled on about 4 times for riding between 6mph and 10mph or about what I would expect for slow desert riding. Riding at 15/20mph at 105º will cause the fan to cycle on when I stop but not while moving.

I just bought the machine a couple weeks ago so I have no idea what cooler temps will cause the fan to cycle on/off. I'll be November before I can get a good idea on that.
