Warn makes a locker that works on some Rancher models with fulltime 4x4 , that allows you to switch between 4x4/2x4 ; i don't know if they make one for the Rubicon CTE !....

^^^Thats not an unlocker, that is a 2wd to 4wd shifter, and I imagine the 2008 Rubi has that already.

He is looking for a locker that locks the front differential so both front wheels drive with no slippage. Detroit Locker makes ATV lockers and Highlifter sells them.

Aww, the front brake trick again. Kinda popular around here. If you put a locker in the front, won't it make the darn thing almost impossible to steer?

If you install the highlifter spool like I did ($35 USD) it makes steering much stiffer on a hard surface going very slow (especially stopped). Once your moving more then 2-3 MPH its not nearly as noticeable. I havent expereinced any mechanical failures due to the extra strain, or weird tire wear either, I've been running it 3-4 years now.

With the more expensive detroit locker, that unit unlocks when you let off the gas, and lock when your into it. If you have the bike in 2wd then the unit stays unlokced for easy steering.
