300ex Handle Bar Cover
Hello,
I have mixed feelings about the cover,
That is where the key and N/R lights originally went, correct?
I bought my 99 300ex, there was no cover, it has aftermarket fly handlebars
and the key and lights have been cut into the front fenders,
It looks pretty good..
However, up front, all my cables WERE all over the place, in front of my lights and
whatnot, untill I loosened the lights, and put the cables between em..
everything is still find, so I didnt mess anything up moving the cables around..
What i wanna know is, can I put a cover back on, with the handlebars I have?
I have the big black maier hand guards, and I think they would look sick
with a black bar cover as well.
altho i would have 3 holes in my fender plastic.
Whats the point of that cover exactly?

i am pretty sure its there for accessibilty...on my 450r we switched the handle bars and mounted my whole cover on the underside of the hood...a suggestion for your 3 extra holes...if you can cut them out and it looks good...cut them out to the numbers 300 and glue stainlesss mesh or painted covers behind them....
