the vent tubes(2) on the right and left side of the carb should be ran up instead of down and the drain tube on the bottom should have a check(oneway) valve that is working to keep water from going up that tube

Thanks i will try that tomarrow, but with the water not even getting near the carb and thoses hoses being just over flows i would not think water could get up in the carb. but maybe somehow it is im going to work on it tomarrow. thanks again, any other idea would be great too.

Ignition coil or spark plug boot is gettin wet. Put di-electric grease on the plug and reinstall the boot, and put some on the 2 electrical connectors on the coil itself.

my rancher did that when one of the vent lines droped down as soon as that hose went underit would die you might try putting di-electric grease on the stator connection also if that bottom"drain" tube check valve is messed up it will let water "suck"up into the bowl on the carb
it really dosent sound like you have an electrical problem

i see the 2 lines coming off the carb but then it T-s into one line going down. i tied that line up plus another line too. i also checked the one way velve today and it is working. i m going riding tomarrow and will see what happens if no luck i will try the di-electric greese. thanks for the input keep it coming.

the problem should be where they teed together they are supposed to go up to the gas tank around where the top of the seat meets the gas tank instead of down it should be a plastic clamp to hold them if not you see a hole in the plastic where it used to be

The one way valve rarely work when you need it to. When riding deep water plug the over flow with a stick and remove it when you stop (dont forget)!!!
