Default Need Help

I have a 2000 Honda Foreman 450 ES. I started having problems with it shifting into reverse and now it won't go into reverse at all. Any suggestions

Are you new to the bike? You have to push down the red button on top of the Left hand controls, then pull in the left hand side brake handle (in that order) and hold the brake in while operating the shift button.

If not, then you may have to check for trouble codes.

Thanks for your reply, but,
No, I'm not new to the bike, I've had it for 9 years. It's a great ATV, just started having this problem.

There are no codes showing.

sounds like ur reverse cable has streched . follow the cable down to the backside of engine and pull lever with finger all the way over and have someone shift the bike into reverse . if this works replace reverse cable ,if not check reverse switch wire its a single black plug near the reverse lever make sure its pluged up all the way
