My two sons ages 8 and 11 are currently sharing a Polaris Sportsman 90. We have been looking for something bigger for our oldest and have been looking at sport quads. We narrowed it down to Raptor 250 and TRX250EX. A couple of the main features we liked about the 250EX is reverse and the sportclutch, so we decided to go with the Honda. I have been looking pretty good to see if I could find any discounted remaining 2008 models. I didn't find any 08s but my local dealership has a brand new
red 2007 250EX for $3299. Is this a good deal? Should I try and talk them down more? It comes with full warranty and everything. I'm assuming nothing has changed dramatically between the 2007 and 2009 models. I'm trying to decide if it's worth $800 or more to go with a brand new 2009 model for $4100. And if it comes down to buying an 09, I'll probably just wait till spring because I wouldn't be saving any money buying it now anyway.

 

With the rebates Honda has got right now on the 250EX's they CAN offer you a better price! We've got our leftover 07's marked down to $2999 just to give you an idea... If it were me, I wouldnt buy an 08 or an 09 for the extra $$ because they havent changed a thing on the actual machine besides new colors. Also just as a tip, some dealers are not telling people about the special financing promo that has been extended through AHFC. Make sure they tell you about the 3.99%/4.99% promotion, I've had a few customers running into dealers lieing about this promo because the dealer can not jack this rate up to make money on the backend so alot of them dont like to honor lol.
