rubicon rear drums
I was just looking at the parts break down on mrcycle.com and it looks like the drum could slide off. It may be gummed up due to trash inside the drum, and make sure the parking brake isnt set. all else fails give it a few gental taps with a hammer.
Good luck

First backoff 2 wingnuts on brakelines( make sure you count how many times you back out). Then with RUBBER mallet tap around drum. Should then come off. After doing what you have to. Replace drum then turn in wingnuts as many turns as you did out.If your putting NEW Shoes on , what I do is I turn wingnuts in until ATV doesn't move then I backoff 1 turn at a time until ATV moves without any drag or rubbing. seems to work for me every time. Hope this helps. I read your thread again are you talking about the DRUM or the DRUM COVER?
