Default Rear Seat Bags

I'm looking at 2 different seat bags for the back of my Rancher.

- soft bag - no drilling required
- stays put when riding hard and doesn't tear
- seat extender for the occasional passenger (I know it's not made for that)
- Water resistant. I want to be able to wash my ATV without soaking the inside of the bag.

Here are the two I'm looking at:
TUSK PADDED RACK PACK - $50

Seems like a good fit, especially because it's only 16" deep. I could probbably install this to mate right up to the back of the existing seat. I'm a little concerned about quality of the bag and that it only has one zipper to open the whole thing.

KOPLIN MATRIX SEAT BAG BLACK $120

This one seems like a good quality bag, but it's 6" deeper than the Tusk and it will probably overlap the existing seat a little.

What do you guys have on your ATV's. Anyone have these specific bags or got something else that's better? Pictures of your seat bag on your Rancher?

Thanks!

It depends on what you'll put in it. The cheaper one would suit me, but that's me.

I have had a MOOSE now since I bought my '07 Rancher and have been very disappointed with it. It leaks, it has faded badly and only holds it's shape with it stuffed full. Recently purchased an American Trails Venture rear bag and so far it is GREAT.

My experience with bags are that they do not last long.. zippers fail, straps break. Fabric wears right through on contact points. After buying going through 2 bags I bought a tamarack box...it fits TONS inside.

My buddy has the big fancy kolpin camo w/ cooler in it..lasted 1 year.

Thanks for the info all. I think I'm going with the cheaper one. Hopefully it holds up for a couple of years.
