1998 Foreman 450 S Racing on Startup...
It starts fine, but it races for a few minutes enough so that I have to put the brakes on to kick it into gear.
After it warms up, it runs okay, but will stall if I stop.
Is this just a dirty carb? Is this easy to clean?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

clean the carb look for the brass fittings in it with tiny holes in them , like a water sprinkler , these are jets, remove with flathead screwdriver and clean good, do not gouge the holes any bigger cause it will mess them up, just clean and put back together and ajust the air mixture screw all the way in and come back out 2 and 1/2 turns and crank it then fine tune the air mixture screw to how high or low u want it to run...... if this dont stop it check the valves have them adjusted ( $25-$40) as this will affect idle problems but cleaning the carb will def not hurt the ol machine..... my 75 cents
