Ok I know this issue is on here a few times. But I've tried a bunch of things and I'm at a dead end with this thing. First I replaced the pickup coil, also had the ignition coil test and replaced the cap. Did a few tests with a multimeter and, if I did them right according to the what I found on this site it passed. And said to then replace the cdi. I just found a cdi for a 125 on ebay......still no spark. Even tried a brand new spark plug.....nada.

Now the cdi I ordered is a lil smaller then the one that was originally on the atv. Id if it matters.....or if that's just not the problem.

This is my brothers atv, ran fine n just stopped running a few months ago. And now I'm trying to get it going again. Now I really don't know anything about this stuff....I'm just learning as I'm going. Someone please help me figure this out, I'm dying to pickup this sport.

( From what i found out the 10th letter is the year and that being "H" makes it an '87 my brother was told it was a dif year and i think a 250. But from my research it is a 87 trx 125 )

 

So im trying to figure out how to test my stator. Everyone seems to have something totally different then mine. But this is what it looks like. I really dont know how to test this, and i dont know what it should be reading at either. Can anyone shed some light?

 

When I had problems with TRX125 CDI and tested bad, I got it replaced here. Now it runs like new. Hopefully this helps someone out.
