Alright I just bought a 2001 honda foreman 450 es all stock a little abused the electric shift will not work I went threw the plugs and nothing still added electric grease and everything nothing any idea on that?
Also it smoke when I let off throttle thick white smoke I may over filled the oil when I changed it days ago but other than that change I would like some experienced knowledge on what's going on please help thanks
A few things I left out on the es was the manual shift works fine but I hear no noise at all from the electric motor or anything my display shows 1st and 5th on I get (--) in 2nd 3rd and 4th

My Neutral Resistance is 4.87ohms and within their good range of 4-6ohms. But then you check the other 2 pins(BG/YR) and my resistance is changing way over the range they say it's suppose to be. According to the formula your shift up resistance / the neutral resistance(4.87) < .4 well that would put in the range of 2-3 ohms, but mine is in the K ohms range. I go from a low of 129ohms to 5.5K ohms. So I'm trying to find from a service dept what they are seeing in a new Angle Sensor for a low-high Ohm reading.
