Anyone see that Can Am is releasing a smaller version of their Outlander called the L

RedRancher...I bought the 500 L model two days ago and now have 127 miles on it. It's a very well put together machine. It also offers a nice ride. I was out in some higher speed trails yesterday and ended up turning down the spring preloads to the softest (grandma) settings. That worked out well.
I'm no atv expert but I've test ridden several brands and models and prefered the smaller size and overall quality of this one.
My salesman tells me that it's the same size as the Outlander 650 that I tested but it seemed smaller to me... 25" tires vs 26" and smaller see through racks just seem to reduce the overall dimensions. I figured that since I'm new to this game I'd feel more comfortable on this quad. The engine is also better suited for my current riding style...cruzzen' the trails or the country back roads leading to who knows what?
If you or anyone else have any questions, fire away.

SkidooGrampa, Congratulations! Also thank you for posting your thoughts. I like most of on here love to hear "seat of the pants" reviews.
Please please keep us posted with your thoughts and experiences with your 500L. I especially would appreciate your feedback as I am considering the 450/500L.
Finally do you have any pictures. Thank you in advance.

Thanks guys.
Sorry I don't do well with posting pictures...let's just say...err...electronic doodads and I agree to not get along! If you want good pics go to the Can Am site. I just finished the break in and had it up to 69 mph on a hard surface gravel road. I'm quite certain that she'll give me 70 mph with a few more miles on the engine along with a bit more air in the tires. I'm starting to have a lot of fun discovering what a good (to me) atv can doo.

69 mph, that is plenty fast for me. My 2009 Rancher tops out at 52, I only did that once up in Maine on a very wide straight gravel road that was about 5 miles long. Now a-days my riding style is more cruising and exploring the back woods of New Hampshire which is mostly tight and somewhat technical trails with constant elevation changes.
