I like that Pioneer with the cargo box. This would have been a good fit for what I do with a sxs too. Glad to see these out there.

No, it's completley mounted in place to the rack but punching the gas from a stop will usually get you the same results

What's up everyone,

Added a few things to the P-500 recently

I also have a 3500-s Provantage winch that I plan on installing later this week.

Like the looks of the wheel/tire combo. The stock tires on the 500 are so small and the low gearing beg for a larger tire. I would have guessed a windshield might have been another accessory you might add to fend off the cold.

Thanks guys, it's a far cry from how it looked stock for sure.

Greg- I figured 26s would be about right for it and I haven't noticed any power loss yet. I've been pulling fire wood out of a rutted/steep part of the trail with it (about 500lbs at a time) and it's been revving out under a load quite nicely. The Terracross' have performed great so far also.

I could have used a windshield the day I took these pictures. It snowed another 4-5 inches after the picture was taken in a short amount of time and the winds were brutal. I was dressed right, but after about 5-6 miles of trekking thru the logging trails, I had to turn back to get the dog warmth. I'll probably pick one up soon.

I saw a guy on youtube called Mudd Man who also has a Pioneer 500. I think he has 27" zillas on his. That's probably about as big as you can go without getting too big. I've watched a few of his videos and even subscribed to his channel. I'm pretty impressed with what the Pioneer 500 can do. A diff-lock would help though but the 700 doesn't have diff-lock either, have to step up to the 1000 to get that. 40 mph top speed is fast enough for most. I've seen test riders almost flip the 500 even at speeds well below that so maybe not having a blazing fast top end is a good thing. For trail riding, most of the time you're not exceeding 20 mph and it does great at those speeds.
