Ok..Alot times when an atv gets sunk and water gets inside on engine grit in water get inbeded in crankshaft bearing an other bearing and seals and alot of time this grit cant be removed just by flushing an engine,,,This grit stay inside and everytime engine cranks the grit get moved around in oil and oil pump delivers it though out the engine in which causes to continue eatting up cylinder wall and eat up rings which can cause smoking and blowing oil by piston and rings..You prolly need an complete engine teardown and replace all bearing and seals, crankshaft, oil pump, rebore cylinder round again, etc.
