obviously, but as I stated, I am looking to fix this up to sell, and keep the spending to a minumum, not spent 70-200 dollars on a skid, there are some stock ones there i am watching, but those aren't going cheap either. it not that i dont want a good skid on there, its just you will never get your money back on expensive parts you put on just to sell the quad. looking for max return on dollars spent, if you catch my drift.

Well, I'm gonna guess that a 90cc taiwan, or a 250cc polairs plate won't fit. :P

So do you still have the old one? Thinking maybe you could find some plastic material, use the old one as a pattern and just make it.

this and the other quads I bought were all missing stuff, the 400ex did not have the skid attached along with other parts it needed, so just getting by fixing or replacing what i can. probably going to just end up finding a used one on eBay, its the only part i need to finish it out.

Ok, don't do this, but I still get this picture in my head of someone cutting a sheet of plywood and painting it black.

Another vision.

Answering a craigslist ad where they've actually used plywood. Then when you question them about it, they tell not to worry, it's treated plywood.
