Default Im confused!!!

I have a 05 honda 400ex Im looking to upgrade from my stock rims and I can't seem to understand the wheel pattern im looking at itps and I don't understand the wheel size and what tires fit on them! So if you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

This will kind of give you an idea on the tire size for the rims.

A tire that is 20x12x10
20 = tire height
12 = inner dia of tire OR rim size
10 = width of tire

The one number that has to match is the rim diameter. You can go taller and wider, just be careful not to get a tire too big/heavy or one that is so much bigger it won't fit under the plastic, especially when the suspension is compressed, or is to wide to fully turn left and right.



Bolt pattern and stock tire/rim sizes are:

TRX 400EX 99-05:
Front tire 22x7x10, rim size 10x5, bolt pattern 4x144.
Rear tire 20x10x9, rim size 9x9, bolt pattern 4x110.

But it says 10x5 and then like 3.0+1.0

This will explain it better than I can. The 3.0+2.0 is the stock offset.
