1987 honda 350trx foreman
I have a 1987 Honday 350 TRX foreman. It only seems to start well when it's sunny and warm outside. Otherwise it will turn over and over but will not start. I changed the spark plus, blew out the gas filter, changed the fuel pump and the fuel cut switch. Can anyone suggest something else?
I thought about the ignition coil, any ideas?

You don't mention the choke or cleaning the carb out. Most engines need choke in cold weather, and if the engine is running slightly weak, due to dirt in the carb, they are more reluctant to start when cold. I must admit I have never had one of those strange pivoting dashpot carbs to pieces.

I think you answered your question. Check any wires to the fuel pump, especially ground wire. If you have power and a good ground, it's probably the pump going out. If the ground is good and intermittent power, might check the ignition switch. Surprised you even have a fuel pump, my 2001 Arctic Cat uses gravity, but probably wouldn't work inverted.
